Description:

FMX Team 2 is a motocross game like many others; do stunts, get points, win races, tune your bike, open new tracks. You know the drill. Except this one is different. First of all, there are three bikers on your team, and each has different specialties: one is the all-arounder, one is slow but acrobatic, and one is fast but not so graceful.

Each also knows their own limited array of stunts, but as you complete them, you can open up more and more stunts for them to perform. They also earn experience points that allow them to gain ranks in speed, driving skill, acrobatic skill, and, strangely, the bike weight. (The bike gets lighter/flies higher the more you develop that skill.)

The tracks start out pretty simple: just ramps after ramps on which you can practice your tricks. The tricks, however, are difficult at first. The physics engine in FMX Team 2 is merciless: if you pop a wheelie too high, you can't come down just by leaning forward like in most games. In fact, all that does is raise your center of gravity and make you fall. The solution is to brake, which of course sends your front wheel crashing back down.

Important note: when you press a number key to engage in a particular aerial stunt, you have to press it again to disengage the stunt, or you will crash when you land. Each race has competition which is going at the same time you are, earning points and speeding down the track, but the game doesn't slow things down by showing them to you, you only see them represented on the bottom of the screen as static icons.
