Description:

Spring Bike is a fast paced and challenging freestyle motorbiking game in which you'll start on simple dirt hills, but soon enough you'll be jumping onto cars, hopping from boulder to boulder, and generally defying the laws of physics in extreme ways. You start a level, try to make it to the nearest save point, then the next and the next until the end of the level. There's no end to the lives you have, and there's no score, so the only competition you have is the terrain and your desire to do cool stuff in midair.

The bike travels very quickly when the terrain is open, but the game doesn't give you much of that and what is there tends to end abruptly in a giant pile of cars or a huge rocky mountain. When you're on the pile of cars or rocks, the game gets very interesting as you try to find places to plant your wheels that will drag you over the ridges, corners, and ledges of whatever you're riding on.

The physics engine is pretty good, with two small exceptions: first, when you flip over, your wheels drive on the ground with your head under the dirt. Not a big deal, because the game restarts at the last save point within seconds of flipping over, but those few seconds can look pretty funny. Second, you have a very unique and powerful dirt bike in Spring Bike: it has all wheel drive. Just your front wheel can pull you along, which is obviously not the case on a real motorbike. Then again, you need that in Spring Bike, because the obstacles in your path are so unforgiving otherwise.
