Monster Kartz is the game you should start playing if you like kart games. This is exactly what a racing game should be: it has 8 different tracks, you can select between different racers and you can compete against your own highscore.
The best part about this game is that you have a couple of options when it comes to drivers and there is a big difference between them. You get a minor bio for each of them and you can see their skills based on category: speed fever, acceleration, handling, I.Q., strength and slyness. You will have to race against two other drivers on an asphalt track. There will be 3 laps and you don't necessarily have to be the winner. In fact, you can even come last as long as you finish the track in bronze medal time. At the beginning of each stage, you will see the minimum time of completion for the gold, silver and bronze medal. If you manage to finish during this period, you can unlock the next stage. Monster Kartz lets you control your kart with the directional keys and you can use the space bar as handbrake and the tab key for restarting the level.
Instead of focusing on speed in Monster Kartz, you will have to focus on cornering. The two other drivers are just as fast as you, if not faster on the straights, so the best chance of beating them is by trying to overtake them in or before tight corners.
