Hive Hero is one of the few games where you can act as a bee. You are the only bee alive from your hive and you need to defend it from oncoming wasps. At first, you have a mini-machine gun, but the situation chances after just a couple of levels.

Basically, the game is all about survival. You will be attacked by wasps carrying bombs, by large wasps which are releasing smaller ones or by fast insects. You will control your bee with the WASD keys and the mouse is used for shooting and aiming. Luckily, Hive Hero will offer you some power-ups. You can get an armor which will make you stronger, a few better weapons, including a super machine gun and extra life. You can see how many wasps you've killed at the top of the screen, along with other important data such as the remaining time, points, life and armor level. The game is stationary, so you just have to avoid or kill your enemies. You don't necessarily have to shoot everyone, but this will give you more points. Your bullets are unlimited, but your life isn't. If you die, you will have to start from the beginning and try doing better next time.

Hive Hero is a simple, yet entertaining game. You start off with a minor BB gun, but you will eventually be surprised to see what type of guns can a bee master with your help. In the end, all you have to do is protect the hive.
